Evelyn Marlene (Leichliter) Broskey

Evelyn “Marlene” Broskey, age 82, of Keisterville, PA passed away on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024 in hospice at WVU – Uniontown Hospital while listening to church services with her daughter.

She was born on July 18th, 1941 at her parents' home in Keisterville, PA.

Daughter of the late Clarence and Arrena (Dean) Leichliter.

Marlene was a lifelong member of Keisterville Union Church where she served many years as the treasurer and pianist. Marlene's life was highlighted by her devotion to God and her family.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Peter L. Broskey

her brother: Eugene

her sister: Virginia Robbins

Marlene is survived by her sister: Wilma Robbins

four children: William L. Broskey and wife JoBeth

Brenda Williams and husband C.B.

Beth Cook and husband John

Pete Broskey and wife Jen

Also survived by her 19 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in The Dearth Funeral Home 35 South Mill Street New Salem, PA on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8PM and on Friday from 10:00AM until 11:00AM.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM with her son, Pete Broskey Officiating.

Interment will follow in Bowman-Flatwoods Cemetery.
